The Parting Lunch - December 15, 2012
The Parting Lunch was organised for the Participants, where they were served with steaed Fish and Chicken Manchurian besides other delicacies.
VALEDICTORY SESSION -15th December 2012
The Closing ceremony/Valedictory ceremony was attended by Dr Bhupen Sarmah (Director,OKDISCD), Dr. Sambit Mallik (IIT-G) and
the Vice Principal -in charge Milu'baideu (Senior Professor,Botany Dept,JB College), besides the Coordinator Dr Bolin
Hazarika. The Participants shared their experiences of the Workshop and at the end of the programme, they recieved a
Certificate of Participation from the distinguished guests.

Scenes from the DINNER PARTY For Participants Hosted by Dr. Bhupen Sarmah (Director,OKDISCD)
Dr Bhupen Sarmah hosted a small dinner party for the participants at the JB College Canteen Premises on 11th December 2012. The Participants had a great time sharing jokes, singing in chorus, and a few even tapping their shoes for a short skirt with dance.
SAMBIT MALLICK's Lectures
Dr.Sambit Mallick, Assistant Professor at IIT Guwahati, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences did his Ph.D. from University of Hyderabad. His active field of work includes Sociology of Science, Historical Sociology. Here he can be seen delivering lectures to the participants.
Work at the Library
Study at Library was essential part of this workshop. Researchers were asked to go through books,texts of their interest,investigate and find materials for their interests.
